About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists with patient care, diagnostic testing, and clinical operations in a fast-paced eye care setting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ophthalmic Technician Certification (Required)
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Perform eye exams (visual field, ocular motility, color vision, tonometry, pupil assessment)
- Assist with intraocular pressure and pharmacological testing
- Manage patient flow, collect medical history, and coordinate imaging/tests
- Educate patients and address questions
- Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic equipment (slit lamp, keratometer, etc.)
- Prepare and sterilize instruments; assist in minor procedures and surgeries
- Ensure clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
