Ophthalmic Technician
About The Position
Temp To Perm Perform preliminary eye exams including visual acuity tests, auto-refraction, keratometry, and tonometry Obtain and document patient medical and ocular histories accurately Conduct pre-testing procedures such as retinal imaging, OCT, and visual field testing as directed Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and answering basic questions Enter test results and patient information into electronic health record (EHR) systems Assist optometrists by ensuring accurate, complete pre-exam data is available Maintain and calibrate diagnostic equipment to ensure proper operation Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times Clean and sanitize exam rooms and equipment between patients Support front desk and clinical staff as needed to ensure efficient patient flow Identify and report any abnormalities or concerns to the optometrist promptly Provide compassionate, professional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment $12-$14 + DOE To apply send resume to [email protected] LKJ is an equal opportunity employer #LKJCC
