Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Certification from the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO).
  • Experience with advanced eye care technologies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist ophthalmologists and optometrists during examinations and procedures.
  • Perform preliminary tests and gather patient history.
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment.
  • Educate patients on eye care and treatment options.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
