About The Position
Ophthalmic Physicians Incorporated is currently hiring a full-time Ophthalmic Technician position. This position will also be responsible for Scribing. Schedule will be Monday - Friday day shift. No weekends and no late evenings. The Ophthalmic Technician performs a range of duties including but not limited to: receiving and preparing patients for examination and/or treatment, performing basic and routine vision screening tests, reviewing and verifying medical history, documenting patient information in the patient medical record, administering eye medications, cleaning and maintaining ophthalmic instruments and equipment, and assisting physicians during minor surgical and laser procedures.
