About The Position

Provide technical support to Ophthalmologist/Optometrist. Patient-care duties may include obtaining and recording of medical histories and patient ocular history, as well as performing patient specific ophthalmic testing/exams and administering eye drops prior to the patient seeing the provider. Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma or GED
  • Skills: Demonstrate basic computer skills.
  • Able to promote a strong commitment towards achieving outstanding internal and external customer satisfaction and superior patient experience.
  • Must be able to understand directions (written and verbal), communicate and respond to inquiries; requires effective interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate good judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Years of Experience: Previous Ophthalmic tech experience.
  • Certification: BLS/CPR
