About the position

At CorrectVision LASIK Institute, we offer an unsurpassed array of high-tech diagnostic and biomechanical tools for corrective eye surgery. Currently, we are the only refractive surgery center in South Florida to offer this selection of remarkable automation. We are seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Surgical Tech to be a vital part of our dynamic ophthalmology team. As an integral member of our surgical staff, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring successful and efficient eye surgeries.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain sterile operating environments, including instruments and equipment.
  • Assist ophthalmic surgeons during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
  • Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments, including patient education and support.
  • Manage and sterilize surgical tools and equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Document surgical procedures and patient information accurately.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in ophthalmic surgery or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of ophthalmic instruments, procedures, and protocols.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused with strong communication abilities.
