About The Position

Ophthalmic Scribes play a key role in supporting our providers and patients. You’ll accompany physicians during exams, document real-time patient interactions, and assist with testing and procedures. Spectrum Vision Partners (SVP) and OCLI Vision provide world-class eye care through one of the largest multi-specialty ophthalmology networks in the U.S. Our expertise covers everything from pediatric to advanced ocular care. Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Outgoing, dependable, and service-oriented
Calm under pressure, adaptable to change
Positive team player with a can-do attitude
Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of ocular pharmacology is a plus (not required)

Responsibilities

Prepare patient charts/EMRs and exam rooms
Accurately document physician-patient interactions
Track orders, prescriptions, and testing
Perform ophthalmic testing & work up (visual acuity, tonometry, dilation, OCT, VF, etc.)
Educate patients on procedures, testing, and prescriptions
Audit charts for accuracy
Provide exceptional patient care and service
