About The Position

Wolfe Eye Clinic is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Imager/Tester for their Marshalltown clinic. This role is crucial for providing excellent patient service and supporting the clinical and surgical care of patients. Key responsibilities include documenting patient history, performing visual field testing, measuring eye pressure, and taking diagnostic images such as OCTs. The position also involves disinfecting and maintaining clinical equipment, preparing and managing patient electronic health records, and effectively communicating patient results and instructions with providers and teams. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, possess excellent customer service and communication skills, and be organized and adaptable. Daytime travel to other clinic locations is a requirement, with mileage and time on the road reimbursed.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent patient service.
Document patient history.
Perform visual field testing.

Prepare, enter, and maintain patient electronic health records.
Obtain test results and images for the clinical and surgical care of patients.
Effective communication with providers and teams regarding patient results and instructions.
Other clinical duties as assigned.
