Requirements

• Prior experience in an eyecare setting is required.
• COA or COT certification is preferred.
• A strong emphasis on efficiency, effectiveness, and meticulous attention to detail in patient care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive interactions.
• Willing and able to travel to Mesa and Chandler, AZ, practices as needed.
• A reliable attendance record, showcasing your commitment to the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual acuity measurements, refractometry, and manual tonometry
• Conduct manual refractions and lensometry (manual/auto)
• Complete A-scan (manual/auto) and IOL measurements (Goldmann tonometry preferred)
• Measure pupil size and reactivity; test and measure eye muscle function
• Conduct potential and brightness acuity tests
• Perform visual field testing, corneal topography, retinal thickness and tomography, and retinal nerve fiber layer measurement
• Scribe by accurately documenting patient medical records and recommended treatments or procedures
