Ophthalmic Assistant Trainee
About The Position
The Ophthalmic Assistant-Trainee provides technical support and assistance to the Ophthalmic Physicians in order to facilitate the evaluation, treatment and management of patients receiving specialized ophthalmic care. This position, with further training and work experience, can progress to Ophthalmic Assistant. There is also potential to advance to Certified Ophthalmic Assistant/Certified Ophthalmic Technician with additional years of training and certification. WHY UVM MEDICAL CENTER (UVMMC)? Requirements
- High school education plus additional training in a relevant field preferred.
- Experience/training in health care field preferred but not required.
