About the position

The Opex Machine Operator is responsible for the servicing of commercial lockbox services, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer deposits. This role involves operating OPEX machines, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining confidentiality of customer information while assisting with various operational functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate OPEX Eagle Machine for most of the day, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods.
• Receive and process all lockbox deposits from various commercial customers.
• Sort, open, and process batches of work as required.
• Process any corrections related to lockbox deposits.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding lockbox services in a timely manner.
• Bill customers monthly according to the services provided.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer account information and follow established policies and procedures.
• Assist with other commercial operational functions as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with LOCKBOX (Opex Eagle or Opex Falcon), REMITTANCE processing, or DEPOSIT OPERATIONS.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Windows programs.
• Ability to stand and utilize OPEX Eagle for at least 4 hours per day.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.
