About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.).
• Ability to operate various types of machines and presses safely.
• Normal dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Ability to run equipment in a safe manner and meet physical requirements of the position.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment like conveyor belts, presses, fork trucks, and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of machinery to produce high-volume quality parts.
• Perform duties involved in producing parts on a large or small scale through work cells or assembly lines.
• Maintain accurate counts and produce at the required production rate.
• Make minor adjustments to machines as necessary.
• Check the quality of parts for conformance to specifications of quality assurance after machine setup.
• Report needed maintenance on machinery.
• Know and follow safety procedures for machines and equipment, performing safety checks as required.
• Keep accurate records, including time cards and setup cards.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
• Lift at least 35 pounds regularly.
