The Operator will assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts to produce sub-assemblies or complete products in routine, repetitive assembly operations. Use various hand and power tools and operating equipment, including jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses, to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble. Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements. Monitor the quality of products and raw materials. What we’re looking for Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience – Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. 1 – 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably a chemical plant. Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
