Safely performs manufacturing, secondary operations, packaging, and labeling processes to productively ensure quality products are shipped on time to our customers.

  • Be on time and ready to work at your workstation when your shift starts. Work until the end of the shift, allowing some time to clean up for the next shift.
  • Read and complete all required paperwork.
  • Efficiently operate the machine. May be required to run up to 4 automatic presses.
  • While operating machines, visually inspect parts and perform basic dimensional inspections using gages and calipers. May be required to trim parts and inspect using a microscope.
  • Monitor parts for quality defects and notify the technician, lead, or supervisor of defective parts produced.
  • Notify technicians, lead, or supervisor of unplanned downtime.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of the shop, department, or work crew.
  • Perform housekeeping duties, clean room monitoring, and production assignments within the department.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Have good hand and eye coordination.
  • Must be able to read and write English, communicate with co-workers, have the ability to interpret documents and able to use measuring devices.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
