Safely performs manufacturing, secondary operations, packaging, and labeling processes to productively ensure quality products are shipped on time to our customers.
Be on time and ready to work at your workstation when your shift starts. Work until the end of the shift, allowing some time to clean up for the next shift.
Read and complete all required paperwork.
Efficiently operate the machine. May be required to run up to 4 automatic presses.
While operating machines, visually inspect parts and perform basic dimensional inspections using gages and calipers. May be required to trim parts and inspect using a microscope.
Monitor parts for quality defects and notify the technician, lead, or supervisor of defective parts produced.
Notify technicians, lead, or supervisor of unplanned downtime.
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of the shop, department, or work crew.
Perform housekeeping duties, clean room monitoring, and production assignments within the department.
Other duties as assigned.
Have good hand and eye coordination.
Must be able to read and write English, communicate with co-workers, have the ability to interpret documents and able to use measuring devices.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
