About The Position

The Production/Shift Operator is responsible for testing and reporting plant operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity while supporting the Company’s policies, goals, and objectives. This position is scheduled for 12 hr. shifts, an alternating month of days and a month of nights. Weekends and holidays when scheduled. Our Production team is vital to our company’s success and plays a huge part in the daily operations of our plant. Requirements

Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
High school diploma.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs
Ability to work in a cooperative, team-based workplace
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
Ability to work at elevated heights
Ability to work in confined spaces
Ability to read, write and understand English
Ability to communicate via two-way radio
Must have valid Driver’s License
Regular, Predictable and On-Time attendance is an essential function of this position

Responsibilities

Responsible for the production of ethanol and co-products meeting the highest standards of Plymouth Energy.
Problem solver with the ability to cross-train and learn other's job functions.
Train on the plant's control system in order to advance or fill in for other personnel.
Maintains exceptional records of key production variables such as production volume, yield, etc. on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis as required.
Monitors use and inventories of process chemicals and supplies.
Responsible for the production of a quality product.
Maintains plant cleanliness and works in a safe manner at all times.
Basic lab testing in accordance with policies and procedures on drawn samples
Ability to safely operate various industrial equipment such as forklifts, loaders, man lifts, scissor lifts, etc.
