Requirements

• High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree
• Operator must obtain and maintain a Fork Truck certification
• High level of commitment and flexibility
• Willingness and ability to work swing shifts
• Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and consistently changing environment

Responsibilities

• Operators prepare machines for operation
• Load machines with material
• Enter data into machine’s computer controls
• Inspect and monitor machine and adjust different inputs, pressures and speeds to maintain quality
• Operators monitor and record product and material types, temperatures, speeds, pressures, quantity counts and quality checking materials and products
• Quality checks include preparing product samples, weighing samples, measuring widths and thickness and evaluating visual appearance of products
• Machine Operators also perform housekeeping and work area organization duties and any required duties directed by supervisor or management
