About The Position

As an Operator at MacroSource, you will play a vital role in the loading of trucks and railcars, ensuring the efficient transfer of dry and liquid fertilizers. Your responsibilities will encompass using approved tools and methods, operating front-end loaders, skid steers, bulk conveying equipment, and handling general maintenance tasks. Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of company-supplied personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toe or sturdy leather boots.
Ability to work in confined spaces and deal with heights and around water while following respiratory and fall protection guidelines and lifting up to 50 pounds.
This role requires English proficiency to ensure safe and effective communication in a safety-sensitive environment.
Willingness to undergo a drug test and background check.
Flexibility to work overtime (some nights and weekends) as required. Typical working hours are Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm.

Experience in a fertilizer terminal is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Load trucks and railcars with dry fertilizer, utilizing approved tools and methods.
Transfer liquid fertilizer, operating pumps, valves, piping, and automation systems.
Perform general equipment maintenance using appropriate tools.
Follow guidelines for ascending and descending ladders on railcars, trucks, towers, and platforms.
Maintain facility and grounds through proper housekeeping methods.
