About The Position
The MRF Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the heavy equipment at the facility.
Requirements
- None required
- Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre and post trip inspection of the equipment per company standards to ensure fluid levels are at proper levels and safety devises are functioning properly
- Continuously monitor the performance of the equipment and report any repairs needed to the maintenance department
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Keep machine and cab clean
- Monitor materials coming in and report all unacceptable waste to management
- Maximize truck load weights per DOT regulations
- Perform other job duties as assigned
