About The Position

As a Production Operator at Maverick Pipe, a division of Zekelman Industries, in Rantoul, IL, you will support the efficient production of piping and strut products while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow production standards and perform inspections.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with others.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate machinery and perform inspections.
• Ability to work in environments with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to support efficient manufacturing of piping and strut products.
• Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following housekeeping and safety policies and procedures.
• Identify product defects or process deviations and communicate concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to support teamwork, professionalism, and consistent production flow.
• Follow direction from supervisors and leadership to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
