About The Position

Job Summary: The Crane Operator is responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials efficiently and precisely. Essential Functions: Operate cranes (e.g., mobile or overhead cranes) to lift, transport, and place materials safely and accurately. Inspect andmaintainequipment, performing routine checks to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Collaborate with team members, including riggers and signal personnel, to ensure smooth workflow and proper communication. Follow all company policies and local regulations to ensure the safety of the worksite and compliance with industry standards. Interpret load charts and assess load weights todeterminesafe operational limits. Respond to and address any operational issues or challenges promptly. Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Crane Operator with relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., NCCCO certification).
  • Proficient knowledge of crane operation, safety regulations, and maintenance procedures.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination, precision, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining safe and efficient work environment.
  • Active NCCCO crane certification.
  • 3+ years’ experience operating heavy machinery, preferably cranes.
  • Valid Driver’s License, Class A preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer / pre-placement drug screen.
  • Must also submit to a post-offer / pre-employment background report & motor vehicle check.
  • Ability to pass DOT pre-placement physical and physical capacities exam.
