SUMMARY: Operates energy facilities for the production of steam, instrument air, pad air, factory air, soft water, and clarified water for the Westlake complex utility needs. Operates Secondary Waste Treatment facility, along with filter press, #3 cooling tower, fire water system, sand filter pond; conducts and documents sampling

Requirements

• Four-year college degree

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors #1, #2, and #3 boilers for production of 180# steam.
• Operates and monitors factory air, instrument air and pad air compressors.
• Operates and monitors air dryers for instrument air, pad air and factory air.
• Operates and monitors sodium and hydrogen softeners for production of soft water and associated regeneration and neutralization system.
• Operates secondary waste treatment and all associated equipment
• Operates and optimizes filter press, cooling tower and associated equipment, fire water system, sand filter pond
• Conducts and documents sampling
