About The Position

The Production Line Operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by performing a variety of tasks on the production line, including feeding, filling, labeling, packing, capping, palletizing, sealing, and inspecting products.

Requirements

  • Effective communication with strong written and verbal skills
  • High attention to detail with accuracy and keen observation
  • Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Ability to conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with SOPs and GMPs
  • Understanding of safety regulations and emergency response procedures
  • Accurate record-keeping and completion of batch documentation
  • Consistent attendance and dependable work habits
  • Physical ability to perform tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Successful background and Drug screen required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe work area and observe all company safety regulations and procedures, including wearing all required personal protective equipment; report any safety issue to appropriate personnel.
  • Perform manual operations such as line feeder, filling, labeling, packing, capping, palletizing, sealing, and inspecting.
  • Perform quality inspections during production and immediately report any non-standard issues to the Production Manager and Quality team members.
  • Continually observe products and materials being used and reject any substandard products, materials or packages not in compliance with SOP's and GMP's.
  • Maintain sanitary conditions in immediate work area at all times and assist in ongoing assigned clean-up. Duties may include mopping, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows, or other task related to line change over.
  • Assist with total line changeovers.
  • Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and legibly.
  • Follow instructions and document accurate calculations for completing batch documentation.
  • Maintain reliable attendance, including overtime as needed.
