About The Position

The Production Line Operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by performing a variety of tasks on the production line, including feeding, filling, labeling, packing, capping, palletizing, sealing, and inspecting products.

Requirements

Effective communication with strong written and verbal skills
High attention to detail with accuracy and keen observation
Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
Ability to conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with SOPs and GMPs
Understanding of safety regulations and emergency response procedures
Accurate record-keeping and completion of batch documentation
Consistent attendance and dependable work habits
Physical ability to perform tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
High School diploma or GED preferred
Must be 18 years old
Successful background and Drug screen required

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe work area and observe all company safety regulations and procedures, including wearing all required personal protective equipment; report any safety issue to appropriate personnel.
Perform manual operations such as line feeder, filling, labeling, packing, capping, palletizing, sealing, and inspecting.
Perform quality inspections during production and immediately report any non-standard issues to the Production Manager and Quality team members.
Continually observe products and materials being used and reject any substandard products, materials or packages not in compliance with SOP's and GMP's.
Maintain sanitary conditions in immediate work area at all times and assist in ongoing assigned clean-up. Duties may include mopping, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows, or other task related to line change over.
Assist with total line changeovers.
Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and legibly.
Follow instructions and document accurate calculations for completing batch documentation.
Maintain reliable attendance, including overtime as needed.
