About The Position

This role operates all machines in a safe and efficient way. This Team Member oversees the production line as well as the packaging of confectionery products.

Requirements

Learn to operate all machines in the Repack department safely and efficiently
Make cases for product whenever possible
Check product and bags for quality on a regular basis
Pull full loads to the warehouse with hand jack or power jack
Keep a count on finished products
Assist and work alongside others on the line when needed
Always keep work area and machine clean and clear
Troubleshoot, solve and fix minor machine problems as they arise
Train other employees as needed
Immediately let the Supervisor know when a problem arises with a machine, quality of product or film
This role requires the ability to verbally communicate proficiently in English to effectively engage with internal teams. Applicant must be proficient in reading and understanding English-language manuals, equipment, instructions, and other documents relevant to the role.
Regular and timely attendance is required for this job.
Other duties assigned or required by the supervisor or management team
Great attention to detail skills
Good basic math skills (addition, subtraction and simple multiplication and division)
Ability to lift up to 5 - 36 lbs frequently and occasional team lift up to 72 lbs
Ability to work/stand on concrete floor 8 to 10 hours per day
Ability to work in a face paced environment with repetitive motion a necessity

Nice To Haves

Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure that Team Members are producing and packaging fine quality products in a safe, secure, and sanitary manner within the appropriate specifications outlines by company managers.
