Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for numerous NIGHT SHIFT Machine Operators for our Hanford Plant who will be responsible for machine set-up for orders, safety operates machine to production target, waste, and quality standards, and trouble shoots machine when it is down or not performing to standard.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to work night shift and 10-12 hour rotating shifts.
Basic machine functions/good mechanical comprehension abilities
Reading, writing, and arithmetic
Read tape measure (Standard Tape Measure)

Responsibilities

Sets-up machine to specifications outlined on the order
Sets-up machine to standard set-up time & procedure
Operates machine to standard production target and waste target
Trouble shoots machine when it is down or not performing to standard
Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the machine is consistent with the policies and procedures which make up the Quality System.
Performs inspections per Quality Procedure
Cleans machine and area according to schedule
Completes all required tracking forms (Job Plan, Shift Run Report, Quality Sheet, and checklists)
Ensures pre-setup tasks are completed for each order.
