Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience with a wide variety of construction machinery.
• Knowledge of maintenance of various construction equipment.
• Ability to follow safe work practices in accordance with the Hensel Phelps safety and health program.
• Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills.
• Reliable and punctual with consistent work attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Experienced in construction layout, blueprint reading, and shop drawing reading.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• CPR & First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain construction machinery including rubber tire loaders, track backhoes, and compaction equipment.
• Perform maintenance work on equipment such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
• Conduct backfill procedures and other earthwork tasks.
• Inspect and document heavy equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Promote a safe work environment and communicate jobsite hazards.
