About The Position
The Operator, Utility – 3 is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the assigned area and operating all departmental machinery. The Utility Operator is placed daily based on business needs and is expected to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards while adapting to changing priorities.
Requirements
- Computer literacy for production orders and basic transactions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving, adaptability, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate respectfully in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate all machinery within the department.
- Support material flow and production changeovers as needed.
- Perform basic equipment checks and adjustments to maintain uptime.
- Maintain good housekeeping.
- Work flexible hours, including overtime, as required.
- Comply with all safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures.
- Rotate to other positions as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
