What you will be doing: Trans-load various materials - hazmat, non-hazmat liquids, dry materials. Operate trans-loading equipment - air compressor, boiler system, transfer pumps, filtration units, portable conveyor system, hand tools, mobile equipment - golf carts, farm tractors, passenger vehicles, light and heavy utility vehicles. Professional interaction and collaboration with other Savage Team Members and customers. Troubleshoot and make repairs to various types of equipment (hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, etc.) Participation in hazardous material handling and safety training programs, which may require brief and occasional travel.

Requirements

Strong mechanical skills.
Read, write and understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English.
Work Holidays and weekends as needed, Work overtime when needed, Travel to other sites as needed.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Valid Driver’s license.
Commitment to working safely at all times.
Exposed to the outdoor elements – sun, inclement weather such as rain and snow.
Walk long distances, work, and stand on uneven ballast surfaces for long periods of time.
Consistently sit, kneel, squat, bend, stand, and climb on elevated surfaces.
Lift 15 lbs. and work safely with this weight at the knee, waist, and shoulder level, also lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the course of a shift.
Respirators may be required due to the nature of our work; therefore, a clean-shaven face is required to ensure proper fit and use of safety equipment.
Wear required PPE.

Pay ranging from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour based on experience
