About The Position

We're looking for Machine Operators to join our team! Our Plant operates on 12 hours shifts (7 am or 7 pm start time). The Operator Trainee will learn the required procedures to operate an extruder/thermoformer. These duties include following the production schedule and making sure all supplies needed for production runs are available. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience is a must.
• 2+ years in a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn the required procedures to operate an extruder/thermoformer.
• Follow the production schedule and ensure all supplies needed for production runs are available.
• Adhere to all safety policies and report any issues.
• Perform proper lockout-tagout procedures.
• Perform proper confined space entry.
• Use hand tools required for operator duties.
• Keep the entire line neat and clean using 6S principles and good manufacturing practices.
• Set up and operate material blender system to keep production line supplied.
• Startup and operate the vacuum loading system including vacuum control.
• Perform quality checks on production at specified intervals and record results.
• Abide by all food safety regulations such as Good Manufacturing Practices.
