About The Position
While reporting to the Supervisor, as a Thermoforming Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating all manufacturing equipment. Safety, quality, productivity, and strong work ethics are important to Highland Packaging culture.
Requirements
- You have at least 2 years’ experience with warehouses, shipping and/or forklift operations
- Ability to work fast with a high level of accuracy
- Operates with a safety-first mentality
Nice To Haves
- Proficient in computers, Oracle or another WMS experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Responsible for thermoforming line, including light maintenance/preventative maintenance
- Transport finished goods to storage or staging areas with or without manufacturing equipment
- Shelving, stacking or loading pallets and containers
- Collaborate with planners, coordinators or supervisors for warehousing and shipping duties
- Audits loading and load tally sheets for accuracy
- May operator forklift equipment will ensure to do this in a safe manner
