About The Position

Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Coordinator and within established hospital and department policies and procedures, perform a variety of hospital communication system and answering service duties. Essential Qualifications: Familiarity with computer terminal, keyboard and telephone console and answering service experience is preferred. Educational Requirements: High school diploma required. Training: N/A License/Certification: N/A Skills: Knowledge of the computer terminal, switchboard and keyboard is necessary. Excellent telephone and customer service skills. A basic knowledge of answering service and medical terminology preferred.
