About The Position

Hiwin Corporation is the leader in the innovation and manufacturing of motion control and mechatronic system technology. We are one of the largest producers in the world of linear motion components such as: linear guideways, ballscrews, linear motors and stages. We are currently seeking a Straightening Machine Operator to join our fast paced, diverse, and safety centric team, you will set up the proper tooling needed to operate the manual lathe and straightening press based on our customer specifications.

Requirements

High school Diploma or equivalent;
Machine operation experience.
Have problem solving skills and love a challenge
Be able to read drawings with geometric dimensioning and tolerances;
Thrive on having a meticulous attention to detail
Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to perform physical duties: standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, etc.

Responsibilities

Reads work orders and follows the specific work requirements and instructions according to customer specifications;
Completes required job tickets in a safe and efficient manner;
Straightens shafts according to job specifications;
Visually inspects each part before and after straightening. Removes and sets aside all non-conforming products as per inspection control plan;
Cleans parts when finished;
Performs routine maintenance on straightening press;
Works with Assemblers and Inspectors to resolve any quality issues as needed;
Reports all non-conforming parts to their supervisor;
Loads individual parts per job specifications into their designated storage areas;
Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area.
