About The Position

Select Water Solutions’ Frac Heater Operator is responsible for operating a Frac Heater unit equipped with a centrifugal pump and burner for heating fluids. The Frac Heater unit operator must complete all paperwork including vehicle inspection reports. The essential job functions include, but are not limited to adhering to Company policies and work requirements, operating a water pump and burner for heating water, observing equipment gauges and indicators, connecting and disconnecting hoses, maintaining trucks, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately. This position requires various types and levels of job-related training with compliance to Company Safe Operating Procedures and other specialized training as required.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret information such as driving routes, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work night or weekend shifts as necessary.
  • Must be detail oriented due to the necessity of safety.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Able to thrive in a team environment.
  • Experience in energy industry.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to Company policies and work requirements.
  • May be required to drive a company vehicle to and from work locations.
  • Operating a water pump and burner for heating water, through manifolds, tanks.
  • Observing equipment gauges and indicators and hand signals to monitor job activities and conditions.
  • Connecting and disconnecting hoses to manifolds and tanks using hand tools.
  • Assure that trucks are maintained and in good working condition.
  • Fill out Vehicle Inspection Report daily.
  • Notify supervisor of all problems immediately and perform minor repairs as necessary.
  • Conduct all field activities safely and accurately.
  • Complete all paperwork such as timesheets and tickets accurately and forward to supervisor daily.
  • Attend all required safety meetings.
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
