About The Position

The Operator position at Bunge involves participating in the refinery's operations, ensuring safety, and maintaining the quality of oil processing. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a safety-conscious environment.
• Some mechanical background including the ability to recognize signs of operational failure.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in reading and writing in English for record keeping and safety training processes.
• Willing and able to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Bunge's Employee Safety Involvement Plan.
• Maintain a safe work environment for oneself and all employees.
• Operate and control refinery oil processing equipment/machines according to the production schedule.
• Make adjustments and maintain operating parameters to meet customer expectations.
• Collect tank and production stream samples of oil products for lab analysis.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain cleanliness in the processing area.
• Commit to food safety culture and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
