The Cooker Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating the cooker and associated rendering equipment to produce a high quality finished product that will meet all food safety plan and production requirements. Responsible for daily inspection of equipment to ensure safe operation, food safety and performance specifications. Employee is responsible for communicating any issues with safety, Food safety plan or and production limitations with the management team. Operator will monitor raw material bins, flow ways and all finished storage bins, to ensure proper food safety and production efficiency. Must monitor all mechanical systems to report any safety, food safety plan or mechanical issues, and be able to react accordingly. Preforms all necessary housekeeping duties in assigned areas. May have to assist maintenance. Other duties as assigned by management.
