About The Position
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Plant Trainee Operator for its Chaparral Plant in Carlsbad, NM. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to gain the necessary training and experience to become qualified Plant Operators. The role is critical in ensuring that the company has a readily available and qualified workforce to meet future manpower needs. As a Plant Trainee Operator, you will work closely with experienced operators to learn the operation and surveillance of a gas processing facility. This includes monitoring and operating all plant equipment and systems, such as amine gas/liquid CO2 treating, mole sieve gas/liquid dehydration, cryogenic gas processing units, residue gas compression, and gas/liquid measurement, along with all utility support systems. In this role, you will be expected to adhere to the guidelines and parameters established by the Company Safety Manual, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will participate in various training courses and receive on-the-job training that covers safety procedures, regulatory requirements, handling hazardous and highly volatile materials, equipment repair and maintenance, liquid and natural gas measurement, and other systems related to the NGL/natural gas pipeline industry. Additionally, you will troubleshoot plant equipment failures and take appropriate action, as well as develop and complete reports related to the operation of the gas processing facility.
