The Pipeline Operator at Enterprise Products is responsible for overseeing terminal and station operations, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of products within the pipeline system. This role involves working on a rotating shift, performing preventative maintenance, and adhering to safety regulations while managing various operational tasks related to pipeline operations.

  • Perform terminal and station operations by coordinating with Pipeline Control and other affiliates.
  • Conduct tank gauging, manifold line up, and develop paperwork related to inventories and quality control.
  • Operate process-related equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Conduct product quality sampling and basic product accounting.
  • Test and measure products while working with flammable hydrocarbons and conventional products.
  • Follow environmental regulations and company policies regarding hazardous substances.
  • Participate in cross-training to develop skills in other operational areas.
  • Maintain facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices.
  • Attend safety meetings and complete required safety training courses.
  • Collaborate with team members and outside vendors for projects.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Technical certification or equivalent training/pipeline experience is desired.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years stable work history, preferably in the energy industry.
  • Strong commitment to personal and job safety.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and dexterity in using tools and equipment.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and possess basic computer skills including MS Office applications.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, decision-making skills, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships within a team environment.
  • Flexibility to perform duties and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful conditions.
  • Experience in the energy industry is preferred.
  • Technical certification in pipeline operations is a plus.
  • Competitive salary range of $67.1K - $85K per year.
