About The Position

The Overnight Operator supports food manufacturing operations on our overnight shift. This position works four 10-hour days on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shift schedule. Operators oversee equipment, prepare production runs, and maintain safety and quality standards in a cold environment and other manufacturing conditions.

Requirements

  • At least six months of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday schedule with 10 hour days.
  • Comfort working in cold, dusty, wet, hot, or loud production environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and pushing equipment.
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills; forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and assist with production equipment used for drying, freezing, grinding, sifting, boxing, and packaging.
  • Perform equipment setup, sanitation, minor adjustments, and production changeovers during overnight operations.
  • Follow General Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), (Critical Control Point) CCP checks, and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures to maintain food safety and workplace safety standards.
  • Complete cleaning and sanitation tasks using pressure hoses, chemicals, and production tools in a cold environment.
  • Support team production goals by maintaining attendance, communicating professionally, and assisting with continuous improvement efforts.
