About The Position

The Operator Night Shift Line 2J position at Post Consumer Brands in Tremonton, Utah, involves operating and monitoring production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing or related experience (preferred).
  • Intermediate level mechanical knowledge of department equipment.
  • Intermediate level math skills, including knowledge of statistical process control.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment, shipping, receiving, and finished product storage.
  • Identify and correct routine and repetitive upset conditions.
  • Perform daily tasks safely around moving equipment.
  • Change over all related equipment as needed.
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
  • Maintain clean work areas and perform sanitation audits.
  • Conduct quality checks on raw ingredients, intermediate and finished products, and packaging materials.
  • Record production data for measuring waste, downtime, or production efficiency.
  • Assist in all related areas and participate in team activities.
  • Prepare production reports and plan ahead to maximize efficiency.
  • Substitute for any team member during breaks or absences.
  • Assist in other areas of the plant upon request.
  • Participate in special projects, assignments, and committees.
  • Coordinate shift activities related to production.
  • Participate in all training activities of the team as required.
