About The Position

As a Material Operator, you’ll play a key role in making sure everything flows smoothly and meets our high standards in every way. You will support the production line by ensuring materials are staged, replenished, and ready when needed with materials like bottles, caps, and pumps. Your responsibilities will include double-checking component numbers, ensuring the right paperwork and SAP stickers are in place, and using electric pallet jacks to move components and finished goods. You will also scan finished products into SAP, maintain accurate records, and act as a gatekeeper for quality. Additionally, you will perform quality audits, maintain a clean workspace, promote safety protocols, and assist in training new team members.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices and OSHA safety standards.
  • Experience with SAP and HMI systems.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, wear PPE, and work well with others.
  • Strong time management and a positive, team-first attitude.
  • Comfortable operating electric pallet jacks.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Be able to work in a climate-controlled, moderately loud production area.
  • Stand, walk, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the shift.
  • Navigate around motorized equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production line by ensuring materials are staged, replenished, and ready when needed.
  • Double-check component numbers and ensure the right paperwork and SAP stickers are in place.
  • Use electric pallet jacks to move components and finished goods, prepping pallets for warehouse transfer.
  • Scan finished products into SAP and maintain accurate records while acting as a gatekeeper for quality.
  • Return unused components and help clear the line for the next run.
  • Perform quality audits, checking label placement, batch codes, and overall product standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace that meets FDA and company quality standards.
  • Promote and follow safety protocols throughout the facility.
  • Step in as a backup Equipment Operator and help train new team members.
  • Complete SOPs, Work Instructions, and other documentation with accuracy and care.
  • Handle sensitive product and customer information with discretion.
  • Show up consistently, pitch in when overtime is needed, and take on other tasks as assigned.
