Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility.
Perform mat rolling by machine, by hand on inverted table, or stacking on pallet.
Stage cage of mats near table or into lift table if using mat rolling machine.
Place mat rubber side up to manually roll mat, or step on foot pedal to roll using machine.
Monitor for quality while rolling and identify and segregate mats that do not meet quality requirements in terms of stains, gum stains, rips, tears, holes, or if wet.
Accurately verify mat by size, color, and type, and place mats on correct storage shelves.
Maneuver full and empty carts.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and observe best practices in all production activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
Working knowledge of basic math skills.
Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet attendance schedule.
