About The Position
Stranger Soccer is seeking a License Owner / Operator to launch and operate its brand in Minneapolis. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial individual who wants to run, grow, and own their own venture, making football more accessible in their city. As License Owner/Operator, you will be responsible for establishing and growing Stranger Soccer in Minneapolis, overseeing daily operations, and building a strong, engaged football community. This opportunity goes beyond typical employment, ideal for someone driven by performance and eager to make a real impact. Stranger Soccer makes playing football easy through its mobile app, allowing players to browse games, book slots, and play anytime. Originating in Singapore, Stranger Soccer has expanded to over 10 cities globally, having run more than 100,000 games, and is actively seeking license partners to expand into new cities.
Requirements
- Passionate about football with strong local insight
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action
- Comfortable taking ownership and driving measurable results
- Experience in operations, events, community building, or similar areas
- Strong communication and people leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Launch and grow Stranger Soccer operations in Minneapolis
- Secure and manage partnerships with football venues
- Recruit, train, and manage game hosts and part-time staff
- Drive player acquisition through creative marketing and community engagement
- Ensure a high-quality, consistent game experience that keeps players coming back
- Continuously improve and scale operations
