The Operator Level 1 assists the Shift Foreman in operating and maintaining production systems, helps maintain production packaging targets, and ensures the packaging area is clean at all times. This position requires 40 hours of work per week, with current shift hours being 10 hours per day.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Willingness to comply with safety and quality standards
• Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks and maintain cleanliness in the packaging area
• Ability to operate production systems under supervision

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems
• Knowledge of safety protocols in a production setting

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shift Foreman in operating and maintaining production systems
• Help maintain production packaging targets
• Load trucks
• Keep the packaging area clean at all times
• Comply with Quality Management System
• Follow written and/or verbal instructions from the shift foreman
• Assist with the QC department
• Perform housekeeping tasks
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Follow safety requirements
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment or lubrication
• Fill out and maintain all production forms before, during and after daily production
