About The Position

Altaview Concrete, a Summit Materials Company, is looking for a loader operator. This position involves operating the loader and other yard operations. Ancillary duties will include paperwork and general maintenance related to the loader, managing materials inventory, yard cleanup and plant maintenance.

Requirements

• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to keep time and material records
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
• Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications
• Knowledge of weight requirements of loads leaving the pit
• Knowledge of soils, sand and aggregate classification to help produce spec material through the crushing operation
• Excellent customer relation skills
• Absolute integrity and strict adherence to company policy regarding inventory and payment collection.

Responsibilities

• Charging plant with raw materials with wheel loader pursuant to plant output expectations
• Management of materials inventory at acceptable levels
• Performs general maintenance at batch plant such as shoveling, greasing and other mechanical duties
• Involvement in company Safety Program with respect to mixer safety, lockout/tagout, and right to know information with regard to loader
• Perform paperwork with respect to the loader
• Other duties as assigned
