About The Position
At Cooperative Energy, we're more than Mississippi's only not-for-profit wholesale electric power provider - we're a team committed to lighting the way for 456,000 homes and businesses across our state. Together with our 11 local Member cooperatives, we generate and transmit reliable, affordable electricity to the communities we proudly call home. This operator position performs inspections, maintenance, operations, and monitoring of power plant equipment and systems to ensure plant safety, reliability, efficiency, and compliance with emission standards. Requirements
- High School Diploma/ GED
- No Experience
- Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening
- Valid Drivers License
- Successfully qualify on operations entrance exam
