The Operator Iron position involves working as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility, focusing on the safe and efficient handling of merchandise. The role requires staging, feeding, and folding various laundry items while ensuring quality standards are met and maintaining a clean work environment.

Stage and feed merchandise onto the ironer to minimize wrinkling and tangling.
Receive and fold merchandise from the ironer.
Identify and segregate merchandise that does not meet quality standards, such as rips, tears, holes, and stains.
Accurately verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type.
Place bundles in the correct storage carts.
Maneuver full and empty carts as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in all production activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
Working knowledge of basic math skills.
Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet attendance schedule.

High school degree or equivalent preferred.
