About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Operator in Training (OIT) to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with machine operating experience who are eager to learn, grow, and advance within our production environment. The selected candidate will begin with approximately one month of training on day shift before transitioning to night shift.
Requirements
- Prior machine operator experience preferred
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand equipment operation and basic troubleshooting
- Strong basic math skills (measuring, counting, and simple calculations)
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes quickly
- Dependable with good attendance and work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, or pull materials as needed
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure product standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
