The Operator III is an hourly position and is responsible for bagging all finished product per standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Quincy Hubbard facility. This role works 8hr shifts from 10:00p – 6:30a. Work hours are subject to change to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Ability to act in a professional manner and adhere by ADM’s Code of Conduct
  • Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
  • Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, and gloves when required
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet working conditions
  • Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a manufacturing environment
  • Self-motivated with a solid work ethic
  • Good attitude and works well in team atmosphere.
  • Handles other duties as required.
  • Maintain excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed KPI goals as set forth by management.
  • Communicate issues or concerns that need to be improved in the production area.
  • Participate in Safety Engagement activities.
  • Ensure finished product amount is accurate and report any variances to Production Supervisor (unless otherwise specified).
  • Operate packaging and palletizing equipment.
  • Cross-train on multiple packaging lines
  • Operate forklift.
  • Make necessary adjustments to optimize equipment performance
  • Fill out production paperwork and complete quality checks.
  • Break out other teammates for breaks/lunches.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership.
