About The Position

As an OP3 Trainer, you’ll be the go‑to expert responsible for shaping the next generation of Rockline operators. You’ll provide on‑the‑job, real‑time training that ensures operators are confident, competent, and successful—from day one and beyond. This role blends technical mastery with a heart for teaching. In this role, you'll: Lead on‑the‑job training for new and experienced operators Teach equipment operation, safety practices, SOPs, and quality standards Mentor operators and share troubleshooting best practices Evaluate performance and certify when trainees are ready Help develop and refine training plans, materials, and documentation Model Operator III‑level excellence and current operational standards Promote and uphold our RRITE values: Renew, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence Maintain accurate training records and support continuous improvement initiatives Work flexibly to meet training and production needs

Requirements

  • 3+ years of operator experience; at least 1–2 years at Operator II or higher
  • Prior training/mentorship experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you know how to coach, not just instruct
  • Advanced mechanical and operational knowledge
  • Ability to assess skills and give clear, actionable feedback
  • Skill in creating/using SOPs, visual aids, checklists, and other training tools
  • Highly organized, proactive, and self‑directed
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to support the business
  • Commitment to safety in a designated Safety‑Sensitive role
  • Includes frequent lifting up to 35 lbs., repetitive hand movement, reading, writing, reasoning, and social interaction; occasional standing, bending, lifting to 35 lbs., and operating on the production floor.
