More about us: https://www.hach.com/about-us The Operator III is responsible for manufacturing quality product according to the work order or other build signal while adhering to defined work instructions. General duties may include picking, assembling, and packaging. Machine set-up and equipment operation may be required. This position is part of the Powders department located in Ames, IA and will be working onsite. This is a second shift position with the following schedule Monday-Thursday, 3:15PM-1:45AM. Overtime may be required. In this role, a typical day will look like: Maintain quality of products produced according to department standards and visual or dimensional specifications. Comply with company safety policies including safe operation of equipment, PPE usage, hand tool safety, lock-out-tag-out, and proper storage of tools, etc. Comply with good housekeeping policies. Meet productivity standards and communicate effectively when obstacles occur. May assist with training of new associates. Interface with other departments as needed Other duties throughout the facility as assigned

Requirements

  • HS diploma/GED or equivalent required.
  • Six months production experience required.
  • Six months mechanical experience or equivalent required
