The advertised hourly pay includes the shift differential. J. Requirements

  • Follow directions, both verbal and written, including, but not limited to, assembly instructions and diagrams.
  • Read and follow job instructions, complete written forms, and effectively communicate with others.
  • Operate various powered industrial trucks.
  • Demonstrate versatility and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention-to-detail in a manufacturing environment.
  • Package and assemble a variety of materials using visual acuity and hand dexterity.
  • Use color and depth perception for selected tasks.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Six months of relevant experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in responsibilities and initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Comply with and contribute to the continuous improvement of company policies, processes and procedures.
  • Perform varied production tasks with direction of the Supervisor and/or team lead including, but not limited to forming, assembling, and packaging products, pulling and packaging customer orders, operating production machinery, and restocking inventory.
  • Monitor machines to ensure proper function, initiating appropriate problem-resolution.
  • Monitor work visually and dimensionally referring to blueprints, engineering specifications, and job instruction sheets.
  • Perform routine computer data entry and queries, reporting production and raw material usage.
  • Maintain housekeeping in the work area, following 6S principles.
  • Use various tools and equipment frequently, including, but not limited to hand tools, soldering equipment, assembly and test equipment, hand trucks, material handling equipment, and tape machine.
  • Assist with cycle counting and inventory control.
